Call for Entries - Area Show: 50
The Charles H. MacNider Art Museum in Mason City, IA is putting out a call for entries for Area Show: 50, an all-media competitive exhibition, open to everyone above high school age living within 100 miles of Mason City.
Two artworks of any media may be submitted by each entering artist. Deadline for entry is Saturday, May 23, 2026. The exhibition will be on display from Friday, July 3 – Wednesday, September 23, 2026. There will be cash awards and the artist with the piece chosen Best in Show will receive a solo exhibition in the Museum’s Center Space gallery in 2027.
